Reactors

Gilbert Electrical Systems produces a wide variety of reactors (480 volt through 72 KV) that are well engineered and of excellent quality. We have been building reactors for over 15 years. We can work closely with our customers to assist in designing options as needed. Reactors are used in a wide variety of applications and knowledge of system needs and the proper application for these needs can be developed by Gilbert Electrical Systems.

The different types of reactors we offer are:

Air Core

  • Current Limiting to reduce system fault currents.
  • Current Limiting for back to back capacitor switching.
  • Harmonic tuning or, detuning packages

Iron Core

  • Harmonic tuning or, detuning packages.
  • Line reactors for motors.

Oil Filled Iron Core

  • Pole mounted single phase - Harmonic tuning or, detuning systems.
  • Pad Mounted three phase - Harmonic tuning or, detuning systems.
  • Pad Mounted single or, three phase - Shunt Reactors.
